Where can I do outreach on local college campuses?
Manassas NVCC - 10950 Campus Drive, Manassas, VA 20109
The two best spots on campus for foot traffic are on the south end of parking lot 1 (stairwell leading to Trailside Building) or outside of Parrish Hall by parking lot 8. Best time is mid-morning to early afternoon. No prior approval needed.
Visitors and non-permit holders must pay $2.50 per hour for hourly parking. This includes Passport Mobile Pay or payments via Pay Stations in hourly lots. Parking in Student Permit/Hourly Pay lots is free after 3:45 p.m. Monday through Friday and all day on weekends.
George Mason University (Fairfax Campus) - 4400 University Dr, Fairfax, VA 22030
The best spot on campus is Wilkins Plaza (walkway between Johnson Center and Harris Theatre). It is the main thoroughfare on campus. No prior approval needed. Student engagement is not permitted inside buildings without an event reservation. Best time is mid-morning to early afternoon.
Closest parking is the Mason Pond Deck or Lot K (see website for rates).
