Our Visibility Bandwagon is our activism engine!
We are dedicated to getting out there in the public square by organizing and participating in rallies, protests, marches, and other events where we need “feet in the street”.
Many of our events are pre-planned, but we also love a quick response effort. If you hear about something happening and you think showing up will have an impact, let us know so we can alert our members and move out together!

We know our government is not meeting the needs of many people in our community, leading to apathy and disengagement.
The goal of the Representation Bandwagon is to educate and engage people in the political process, helping them understand that their voice does matter.

There are unlimited opportunities to jump on the Representation Bandwagon, from voter registration to holding current elected officials accountable.

The Advocacy Bandwagon is where our determination to drive change and our commitment to serving our community come together. It’s also where we depend most heavily on our members to guide us on the issues you care most about, and help us help you develop and implement action plans.

➜ Our Immigration group is our most active sub-Bandwagon.
Led by INW member, Kate, the Immigration team is educating Northern Virginia residents about their rights under the law, coordinating with immigrants’ rights groups to organize rapid response teams, supporting local immigrant-owned businesses, and providing direct support to immigrant families in need through food drives and other actions.
